For a immediate sale is this rare and desirable Steyr Mannlicher Model L in .22-250 Remington Caliber Bolt Action Rifle with EAW Quick Detachable 1” Mounts, One Magazine, and One Box Of 20 Fired Remington Brass For Reloading! This rifle is made In Austria. This rifle comes with a pistolgrip Honey Walnut Mannlicher full stock. The rifle features a side safety, adjustable double set triggers, right handed cheek-piece, stock swivels, “Steyr” rubber butt-pad, ramp mounted front sight, and island rear sight. The LOP is 14 ¾”. The Barrel Length is 20”. The overall length is 39 ¼”. The gun is mechanically excellent and functions very smoothly. The bore contains strong rifling overall, however there is a bit of frosting from the muzzle to approximately 4” down towards the chamber and the rest of the 16” of the bore contains sharp grooves and lands. I have included images that I was able to take of the bore in the last few photos. I have tested this rifle to check for accuracy and it does a beautiful job despite the bore issue. The final image is of a target that I took four shots at 150 yards with when the rifle was scoped with a 6X magnification scope off a bench. It maintained a 1 ½” grouping at 150 yards. The stock is quite nice in its grain and honey walnut color, but it has various handling marks throughout with some scratches and very shallow dents present. There is a little 1/16” nick in the cheekpiece. The stock shows a lot of character from use over time. The rifle contains Austrian proof markings on the barrel and action. The metal components have some faded blueing throughout with approximately 85%+ bluing coverage overall. The majority of loss of bluing is present throughout the top of the barrel and the bolt handle as it has a browning patina. The rings and mounts have seen use, but are still in good shape. I recommend changing the hex screws of the rings as three of them are stripped at the head.
