This is a nice example of a rare commercial Mauser banner Luger sold in the commercial market in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper Mauser banner logo on the toggle. No military proofs. The small parts are not straw-colored, because the entire gun has been refinished. There is very little wear in its new bluing, but there is pin-pricking along the barrel and some light scratching on both grip straps. There is a small ding on the left side of the frame. Comes with wood grips that show general wear in the checkering. Also comes with a post-war plastic-bottom magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor frosting in the grooves.
